Key suppliers
- Constellation’s equally owned joint venture with Owens-Illinois operates the glass plant beside its Nava brewery, supplying approximately 60% of annual glass-bottle needs for its beer brands in fiscal 2026.
- Independent growers supply much of Constellation’s annual grape requirements under purchase agreements. Company-owned and leased vineyards provide additional grapes.
- Suppliers provide brewing grains, yeast and other ingredients, plus glass, aluminum and cardboard packaging. Packaging is the largest production-cost component for the beer brands.
Customers and buyers
- U.S. wholesale distributors take beer and wine-and-spirits brands to market through largely separate networks. In control states, government alcohol agencies distribute products and set retail prices.
- Consumers purchase beer, wine and spirits through retailers and hospitality venues; some also buy directly from brand websites, tasting rooms and taprooms.
